Deathbomb Arc Turns 10; New Web Site and Compilation Series

Avant-whatever record label Deathbomb Arc is celebrating their 10th anniversary, and to celebrate, they’ve launched a brand new web site that finally features their full discography and have released the first installment of a free compilation series that will update throughout 2012.

According to the press release, the anniversary compilation series, DBA100, begins with a collection of new recordings by bands covering their favorite songs released by Deathbomb Arc. Turbine, the first band the label released, contributes a cover of Foot Village. Yuma Nora (releases on Not Not Fun) and Monster Dudes, two acts vital to the label in the mid 00’s, have formed a super-group called YumaDudes to cover Gang Wizard. Current Deathbomb acts, I.E. and tik///tik contribute as well. This installment also includes a virtual photo album to walk you down Deathbomb memory lane and dizzying (seriously, you could throw up) artwork made by Isaac Hicks.

The label will also be  launching a new tumblr and announcing their physical releases for 2012, including a triple LP anthology of the 90s bay area band rRope and their first audiobook!
