Oneohtrix Point Never Releases Zine; All-Noise Zine Also Announced

Two new print mags (yeah, those are still being made) are on the horizon between now and early 2012.  This autumn, Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix Point Never) has announced his new zine titled Cool Drool.  The upcoming issue, Cool Drool Volume 1: Our Drool & Why, features written and visual contributions from Jon Rafman, Megazord, Cory Arcangel, Laurel Halo, Taylor Richardson, Dominic Fernow, Robert Beatty, Bill Kouligas, and others.  The magazine will be available through Lopatin’s Software label.

In early 2012, a new highly-anticipated noise-only zine titled As Loud as Possible will debut.  According to the magazine’s web site, the first issue will be 200 pages of “indepth interviews, articles, informed frontline opinions and an extensive reviews section.”  Further details are said to come later this year.  Orders can be placed directly on their web site, and various retailers/labels such as Hospital Productions, RRRecords, and Hanson Records will also be distributing it.
